Our team was originally formed two years ago and only had one member, Tyler Sweckard. After competing in the world competition and finishing 3rd, we've grown to 7 members, 5 Seniors, a Junior, and a Sophomore. We're hoping to make this year our best yet.

Nathan Foullong

I do Vex robotics because of several things. In the beginning, I was just looking for a club that involved math and science where I could have fun with my friends and maybe learn a bit. However, being on the team last year and seeing our successes at worlds, things changed. Now, I do Vex because it’s not just a club; it’s a job. We’re learning legitimate design team skills that can be applied to almost any engineering job, and that’s something that cant be found anywhere else.

Chase Croley

I am a junior at John Hardin High School. This is my first year in VEX. I want to graduate college with a Civil Engineering Degree and go work for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. I enjoy playing video games and hanging out with my friends. I am also an officer at my school’s DECA Chapter.

I do vex because I love robotics and travelling. I am one of the oldest members on this team with this being my second year. My senior year has been a blast already, but vex will definitely make it better.
Connor Lewis

I am a junior at John Hardin. This is my first year in VEX. After high school, I want to graduate college as en electrical engineer. I also am an officer in our school's DECA Chapter. Also, I am a bench-sitting grass fairy. I am currently recovering from the loss of the love of my life, K.S. My favorite hobby is to go wake-boarding with one of my favorite teachers.

I do Vex Robotics because I enjoy challenging myself, putting my name and voice out into the world, and travelling. Having just moved to Kentucky this past summer, I am the newest member of this team. Carving my way into my fourth school in four years has been a daunting task, but having a team like this to fall back on has definitely been an advantage.

I do Vex Robotics because I recently moved from my home to Kentucky, and struggled to adjust to the lifestyle here. Thinking back to the robotics team I was a part of in my home, I wished to further expand my experiences in this team of friends I met in school. After being introduced to the Vex world, I understood that although there would be a heavy workload, being a member of this bonding team would assist me further than any other club could possibly offer.

I do Vex Robotics because it’s a great opportunity for anyone interested in applying STEM to a fun, competitive game. I’ve always liked Math and Science and Vex has plenty of it. Outside of Vex, I’m involved in Academic Team and BETA. After high school, I’m thinking about going into Physics at a research university.
